The 79th Annual Golden Globe Award nominations have finally been announced and are to be held on January 9th 2022.

The 79th Annual Golden Globe Award nominations have finally been announced and are to be held on January 9th 2022.
As another award season awaits us, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has unveiled its official list of nominees for this year’s achievements in film and television. Due to unpleasant revelations and controversy surrounding the HFPA, the customary telecast of the awards has been scrapped, however, the winners will be announced on Sunday, January 9.
After a year of exciting new releases, Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast and Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog lead the overall nominations with seven each, and to no surprise, Succession is the scorecard leader in the TV category with five nods, followed by Ted Lasso and The Morning Show, both on AppleTV+, tied for second.
